In hyde Park in London there is a corner of the park known as Speaker's Corner. Tradition has it that at Speaker's Corner, anyone can speak freely at the corner on whichever topic they wish, on the understanding that passers-by have the equal right to linger and engage in dialog or to pass by.
In this vein, the Billy Ward Forum now has it's own Speaker's Corner, "the Soapbox". I've set it up with the following in mind:
Long ( looooooooooong) non drum related posts: The soapbox is the place to put 'em.
Specialized discussion (specialized topic, or engaging with one or two folks): stick 'em in the Soapbox.
I'm not trying to quash free speech, merely trying to keep things moving along.
As well as Mario's myspace site, his recent additions concerning his insights have been placed on the soapbox for further review and discussion.
