Lucky enough to be able to pick up a new MacBook Pro 13" 2.26Ghz over the weekend. It's a rocket ship compared to my previous 600mhz iBook. Would have
got a new Macbook but they are USB 2.0 only :-(
Just started looking at various Audio/MIDI interfaces and was wondering if anyone had any experience with the M-Audio 1814 Firewire interface? Was thinking of one of the M-Audio ones using Garageband 9 that the Mac comes with..........maybe later moving up to ProTools MPowered (or Logic i suppose) later on? This will be for small Home/Location use. I may also use it for my Zendrum with DFH Superior.
Looking for 4+ Audio Ins and MIDI I/O.
Presonus seem to get mentioned a lot too.
I'll have to spend a few evenings on the various Recording websites Billy has linked to before.
