Posts: 160 (11/06/09 18:06:09) Regular Member Reply Quote More My Recent Posts Message Me Connection Blocking Invite Ignore User's Posts Report Post	Tags : None where do you guys stash your throne??? for years I threw the seat in my XMBL BAG..... did a few years cramming it into the top of my floor tom case........ and seats are so big now.....I cant even get it in my hardware bag...... i hate carrying this dang thing???? where should I put it???? (haha..... up my butt...I know)

I do this with my snare drum and cymbals. One bag is better than three. Coming at it from the opposite direction, DW makes a hardware carrying case with wheels and a handle, and the whole thing doubles as your throne (adjustable height and everything). AI usually place the seat part of the throne in my floor tom case - when touring on a bigger level it is not my concern, but locally it goes with my floor tomn usually.

If I don't get a headache rack, i'm sure one day, when I hit the brakes, it's going to bash me in the head.

It's kind of a waste of a cymbal bag, I guess, but that is what i do for local sessions. The hardware part always goes with the other metal hardware-

I have to use two bags because one is way too heavy carrying everything.

Make sure you have your car packed safely and use a "Dog cage" or some other method for containing flying objects. I use a small van now with a Steel bulkhead. Cheers Mick
