Worked on this song last night with the band trying to flesh out new material.
Singing and playing that downbeat took some getting used to. The first go round my hands hurt, that beat may sound simple, but your hands have to be very relaxed yet there is a part of your wrists and forearms that have to be tense to keep the stroke even sounding. Fortunately not a total disaster!
