This installment of WAI is a bombastic drummer...exactly what I feel like hearing right now...when I first saw WAI 22 play I immediately fell in love with this
drummers style...I like to play this way too...I also like the openess of WAI's tuning on the drums...bash away, baby!

This could certainly be interpreted as Gary H...but it is not Gary...This drummer has even played with a Policeman before. |

...the sound and the ride cymbal/hihat kind of reminds me of kirk kovington....the policeman clue confuses me though...you mean a member of the police
 ?sting?is it vinnie?that would be TOOOOOO easy...and we know you better than

Hey Kap, Howejw and MainelyMan...
Kap, No...not Kirk K...again, though...very muscular playing so I could see why you would choose the big man Kirk...I don't think I would ever toss in a Vinnie WAI...just too bad for him! So no, Not Vinnie...but yes, you did get the clue right eventually..this WAI did play with Sting. And Howejw...yes, it does very much sound like Tony...but again...that would be too easy...so no, not Mr. W...and MainelyMan...I didn't choose Tommy I. because I didn't want lightning to strike any tree's around my house... Good guesses, doods... Keep em' coming... |

....the sting hint and the tony influence....could it be keith carlock?although it sounds like bigger drums than keith normally uses...and usually kc's
phrasing is much looser...so,i dont know...

No, not K.Carlock... I like Carlock but can really hear the Brian Blade influence more than Tony...also Brian holds his left traditional grip way back on the butt of the stick also... Another hint: Has recorded solo projects... Good luck! |
