Thanks Tobin, it's nice to know that somebody read that tripe--and you even admit to RE-reading it! some answers: 1. my cymbal selection isn't very scientific. My initial purchases were based ENTIRELY on what the descriptions in the catalog said. Lately though, I either buy something on ebay, with the intent of reselling it if it doesn't play nicely with the others, or I'll bring a couple items with me to the store and see how the new prospects on the shelf interact with what I already own. I've got enough of a rapport with the local shop that they'll let me borrow something to compare at home too. 2. I can't say how that o-zone cymbal got defaced like that. It's really hard to get sharpie off of a cymbal. 3. somebody else already has the trademark on small orange lenses in gold frames...
