Just Received My Copy Of Voices. I know, I'm a little behind the times. Can't wait to watch it tonight.
On a side note. I can't seem to get away from the Stampeders " Sweet City Woman " . Happy little Ditty. And it has Macaroons in the lyric. |

I have only had enough time to watch it once through. Great. I feel billy's whole approach is practice playing, even in his delivery, arrangement and
approach to teaching ( correct me if I'm wrong and it was all scripted ) Brilliant!!
Can't really comment on specifics because it needs way more viewing before I can wrap my head around it. Cheers Rick |

Scripted... HAHAHAHA!!!!! What you are seeing is a one day shoot and no second takes. I was sick as a dog - sinus infection and needed root canal (received
later that week back in NYC). The little drum solos were meant to get me in the mood, but they all stayed in there - sometimes I think the little solo pieces
are speaking louder than anything I can say. I hope you continue to enjoy it, Scott, and I hope it helps!

I was in my local drum shop this afternoon, and noticed they stock both Big Time and Voices. They don't have a huge selection, either, but those
two are there in the display!
(They didn't have the 2008 MD Fest, which is what I went in there to get, but they put it on order...) |
