I've been thinking positive thoughts about sloggy all morning.
I know you all are probably thinking to yourself, "How does Navin find the time in his busy little brain to devote thoughts to our friend Slogg-On?" Well, gentle reader, I'll tell you: It was easy to clear my mental calendar. I just allocated the time that I normally spend thinking about sex. So now my inner-world sounds something like this: <crickets chirp> "ummmm....wasn't I supposed to be thinking of something? Oh yeah! GOOOD LUCK, SLOGGY!" <an unnaturally loud echo of a water drop fills the space> "Yay Sloggy!" <more crickets> "Go Sloggy!" "I think I'll have a pastrami sandwich for lunch." "Go Sloggy!" and so on... |

My heart goes out to Forrest and family. I just read a couple of his posts and my eyes welled up. He seems like someone with a real strong heart.

I thought I'd posted an update here, but it seems to have vanished. Apparently my powers of invisibility work as well online as in RL!
Anyway, a couple of communications from Peggy during the Steve Ferrone adventure ... Our Sloggy is still in the hospital with a long road ahead, but making progress slowly. He saves his 'awake' time to spend with Peggy and the girls, I think. When he's up to it, Peggy reads him his emails, and some of the posts from here, so keep the messages coming ... he does get them, even if he's not up to responding. Love you and miss you bunches, Sloggy. (In spite of what other people may tell you I've been saying!!)

Thanks - GREAT NEWS. I had called Peggy (finally) and hopefully now she will see that I don't need an answer. Can you imagine the continuing stress and
concern this puts a family through? Those girls are fire-tested! They will no doubt IMO accomplish so much success in their lives as a result of this turmoil.
What a lesson in Steadfastness and Love. Thanks Gail!
