I saw Slogg and his lovely wife at Woodstick yesterday.

He was walking (with a cane) and looking good!

We talked about....what else? DRUMS! Heh heh.

I hugged him way too long and too many times.......

I won a prize at Woodstick, but seeing Sloggy was the best prize of all.

Pro Tools kept saying, Not bad for perfection. My drums and the Shure microphones shared a smoke after tracking.

Woodstick is a gathering in the NW of hundreds of drummers from all over the world attempting to set a new record of drummers playing drums. Last year a new record of 533 was established. (Bbunks, Glynes, Smoke etc. from Billy Ward forum took part, I missed out.)

Last week after reading Steve Bowman blog and taking inventory where my drumming is at, where I want to go with itI started writing on how desiring to reach a new plateau of drumming peace was burning in me.

I am home. Currently sitting in a hospital chemotherapy room to see an oncologist... (I will use his office to upload this.)
Already given a drip of fentynal so this will be a 'foggy sloggy bloggy' if do not shift into 5th gear immediately and write.

Seeing where my blood work is and after due consideration will receive chemotherapy drip and radiation.

I am here in front of a Tahoe internet kiosk. I have no familiarity with these things but deduced it was trouble with the name, MOLASSES proudly displayed over the computer screen.
It is sluggish and deliberate but seems to be getting the job done.

Drumming is the best feeling.
I love being in the background as a drummer, holding it together. I abhorrer the publicity that singers, actors etc. get. I care for my privacy as much as I love to be on stage keeping the pulse.
