			<description><![CDATA[ I&#39;ve been trawling craigslist intermittently for a snare drum to refurb (to channel my inner John Curry, as it were <img src="http://www.ezboard.com/images/emoticons/happy.gif"> ), and came across an 80&#39;s 6.5 x
14 Ludwig snare on the cheap. It had a chrome wrap over wood (pretty sure it&#39;s poplar sandwiched between maple), and while wasn&#39;t in fantastic shape

Do they feature the TruPitch rods and STM mounts.  I want more of that expensive finish that I&#39;m going to pay for to show and the standard lugs are so
large.

Especially so on the 10&quot; and 12&quot; shells.

I have x-hat arms made by two different companies: a cheap-o Gilbraltar one, and the super-deluxe DW9212. Both do a great job at what they&#39;re for, with one
tiny little issue. The rod is just too short. Some of my cymbals have too deep a profile, so that by the time I pile two on top of eachother, there&#39;s very
little room for the clutch to grab onto the (stationary) pull-rod. Uggh.... ]]></description>

until now.  I found a decidedly low-tech device that each and every one of us use regardless of age, gender, musical styles or haircut.  It uses boring old,
tried and true materials and doesn&#39;t have a USB port or a bank of LED&#39;s.  It&#39;s hand crafted, reeks of quality and (stand up you cretins) it&#39;s
made in the USA.

years ago but in the last few years, I have found it to be very one dimensional and sometimes downright annoying.</p>

			<description><![CDATA[ After 34 years of owning one snare (61/2 x 14) Ludwig Supra, I have finally joined the multiple snare drum club. My brother, who is also a drummer, brought me
an old 5 or 51/2x14 Ludwig White Marine Pearl snare. I think it is from the late 50s or early 60s, the inside of the shell is white,and  the hardware appears
to be nickle.The unique thing about this snare is that it has only six tuning lugs. From what little research I&#39;ve done it appears to be a Ludwig Pioneer
model. It needs new... ]]></description>
