Mate I spoke to the people of Drumscene magazine (which were the peolpe you spoke to at the NAMM show) and will be seeing the boss of the mag at a Virgil Donati gig. In short they are very interested.

We arrived in Chicago for a day off to be followed by two nights. All the arenas look the same to me now. The one is Chicago is where the Bulls play, but it seemed no different than the one in Birmingham... big sonic bathtubs with a lot of people. I still cant believe the Chicks crew is able to take down and set the huge stage every day - not to mention the travelling!
