I began to realize today that when I'm not listening to Steely Dan, I fantasize about listening to Steely Dan, and it gave me a bit of a pause. Sometimes I

Crap.

But, what I do have is my Zildjian drum tool... I extended the large hex wrench, fitted it into the beater shaft holder, and tightened the screw... no one ever

I was looking for something that focuses on playing cymbals, and am having difficulty finding what I was looking for.

Not so much on stick tips (nylon or wood) but more on ride patterns that would compliment say a simple 2-4 rock beat...either on hi hat or ride or crash
etc....

What about when playing say a ballad, or blues etc....

I don't find much that illustrates the cymbals, maybe I am just missing it?

For me the highlight was a rendition of Bye Bye Blackbird in which Joey De Francesco reliquished his Hammond organ to play a Mile's style trumpet part

fit for out set lists of classic and contemperary blues. Had an awesome response from the packed house peppered with friends and family, which helps.
